Jane McGrath loses battle with cancer
Jane McGrath, the cancer campaigner and wife of former Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath, has died after complications from surgery. She was 42. Mrs McGrath had battled breast, hip and brain cancer over the past decade. She had undergone further surgery earlier this year, but after complications, her health declined rapidly over the past week.

Funny Car driver Scott Kalitta, 46, was transported to Old Bridge Township Hospital after his car went out of control and crashed.

NHRA Funny Car Driver Scott Kalitta Succumbs to Injuries
NHRA Top Fuel Funny Car/Top Fuel Dragster Driver Scott Kalitta Succumbed to his injuries suffered during his 4th round qualifying attempt at the Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. Reports indicate that Kalitta was traveling at a speed of nearly 300MPH when his vehicle crashed into the sand at the end of the track.
